Whether you view it as the end of summer, or the beginning of a spectacular Autumn in the Berkshires, the Lake Buel Labor Day weekend fireworks display will be this Saturday starting around 9:00 PM. In the event of rain, unlikely based on current weather forecasts but we all know New England weather’s predictability, the fireworks would shift to Sunday evening.
As in years past, Saturday evening of Labor Day weekend brings the annual Lake Buel Fireworks show! Set to begin once it is sufficiently dark, you’ll be able to enjoy spectacular fireworks launched from the lake shore. Heavy rain however would force postponement and the rain date is the next day, Sunday.
The weather cooperated for a beautiful Labor Day weekend and a wonderful fireworks display over Lake Buel on Saturday evening. Thanks to Paul Schnaittacher for this incredible photo!
As many of you know, Dave Lewis passed away last year. Several residents have inquired whether the fireworks company he was so closely identified with would continue. The good news is it will, and subject to funding approval at the upcoming District meeting on May 24th, Berkshire Fireworks will once again provide a glorious display over Labor Day weekend.
